Applique Charm Posies Quilt

Charm Posies is a fun place to start if you’ve been curious about appliqué. This beginner-friendly quilt from Black Mountain Needleworks combines simple patchwork with rows of appliquéd flowers, creating a 47" square quilt that’s full of color without complicated construction.

In class, you’ll learn how to create the flower shapes using fusible web, secure them with machine stitching, and piece the blocks together. The pattern includes full-size templates, so you can focus on learning the technique and getting comfortable with the process.

Charm Posies was designed with 5" charm squares in mind, making it a great excuse to use a favorite precut or dig through your scrap collection. Mix florals, ginghams, dots, stripes, and other prints to give each posy its own personality. The simple flower shapes make fabric selection part of the fun, and no two Charm Posies quilts need to look quite the same.
